The pcs use Glade's portable hole as an obstacle pit to confound the trolls. Furthermore the entrance is dwarf-sized and the trolls are forced to crawl inside. The tables are turned and the pcs inflict terrible slaughter on the crawling trolls. Eventually the troll forces are decimated and they refuse to enter. The pcs then bring the battle to them on the ledge. After a hard fight the troll king is slain and the few survivors fled to the forest.
