4760 28th Arodus Narlmarches in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands B27

After traveling only a day the pcs are attacked by the fey wildhunt. The three satyrs used their hunting horns to cause fear in Eric. But then pcs counter attacked and quickly wiped out the wild hunt. Now the pcs had 3 trophies and after some discussion they decide to bring the fight directly to Nyrissa.

4760 24th-27th Arodus Narlmarches in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands B26

The pcs rescued a young boy named Gart from two twig blights. The forest was supernaturally overgrown in the bloom and the pcs traveled very slowly. A couple of hours into their travel the pcs are ambushed by a horde of twig blights. The twig blights surrounded the pcs and managed to seriously wound Linkles and Glade but were never really a serious threat.

4760 19th Arodus Tuskwater Lake in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands B18

After hearing about a plague of twig men, the pcs regrouped and headed out against the whirlpool bloom. Glade cast the water walking spell again and the pcs approached close to the whirlpool. The pcs were careful to only kill one black swan at a time. They ganged up on the water elementals and fought them only one at a time and thus the creatures had no chance and were cut down.

Glade and Linkles traveled from the fey forest to the outskirts of the capital. They tracked down the dangerous bloom to a whirlpool in the lake near Solvannia. On the 18th they confronted the whirlpool through Glade's water walking spell. Linkles firballed two of the black swans near the whirlpool and this caused two black water elementals to attack. Linles was struck down and nearly killed but was healed by Glade. The two casters attacked the surviving elemental and managed to bring it down.

Glade and Linkles used the Crystal Cave to teleport to the fey woods near the capital of Solvania. This took a couple of hours by their reckoning but about 2 days in the real world. They then traveled towards the capital of Solvannia.

The pcs hang out in the forest. Glade attempts to bring the pcs to the Crystal but only Linkles could make it across. Glade and Linkles spoke to the Greenman. Because of the time difference between the 1st World and the real world they do not return from the point of view of the other pcs. Later that night Gregor had a dream sent by the Grandmaster of the wizard order that told him to return to the capital due to supernatural blooms from the 1st Realm.

4760 1st Arodus in the forest Thousand Voices in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The pcs are stalked by a green form in the night. In the morning the green form starts casting entangle spells. Eric responds by using fire magic and all the nearby trees animate and attack. The trees seem to be too slow and awkward and are not able to lay a limb on the pcs. Rigby snuck up to the green form which he took to be the dryad queen Nyrissa and put his cold iron sword through her. As soon as Nyrissa was slain the trees de-animated and the battle ended. Slowly the dryad's features changed from the more harsh features of Nyrissa to the more esthetically pleasing physiognomy of a typical dryad. Glade went to and spoke with her and she tried to charm after saying that she was Nyrissa.

The pcs search the forest Thousand Voices. They see animals and fey but the forest lacks the humanoids and monstrosities that the pcs expect. They also see a green form following them at a distance.

Linles and Rigby travel to the border of Kyonin in order to purchase boots of elvenkind. Upon return Gregor, Rigby, and Eric purchase goggles of darkvision from Solvannia's wizard guild.

4760 5th Gozran-6th Sareneth in Solvannia in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

Queen Arsinoe's spy returns and the pcs find out that Pitax is engaged in a bloody civil war. Queen Arsinoe call up all the troops and allies she can muster, given her recent defeat, and she marches on Pitax. She has decided to through her support behind Jhofre head of the Vascari noble family because he assisted the pcs in their mission. After a brief battle, and some intense negotiation, Jhofre Vascari is installed as Grand Duke of Pitax after swearing fealty to Queen Arsinoe. Trinara becomes Grand Duchess and master of whispers Pitax.

The pcs meet with Queen Arsinoe and tell her of their success. The queen sends out spies to scope out the current situation in Pitax with King Castruccio Irrovetti slain.

4760 Pharast 25th Pitax in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The pcs rest for 24 hours hiding among the barrels and crates of the pantry. Then Glade sets out to scout again this time in chameleon. After a number of misadventures, including a stint as a wizard's decoration, Glad finds the door to the stairs that lead to underground. After some searching Glade found a secret door that he assumes will lead to King Castruccio Irrovetti's bedroom. After a brief discussion, the pcs decide to lure the halflings in the kitchen down into the pantry/wine cellar area. Rigby used a disguise self spell to imitate the halfling servants' grey uniform. There was only a single halfling female watching over the soups, stews, and breads for tomorrow. Rigby lured her to the basement with a story of spilled food. Once lured the pcs tied her up and intimidated her into cooperation. Following Glade the pcs headed off on the shortest route to King Castruccio Irrovetti. The pcs surprised the three of the king's elite wardens in the first room and cut two down before they could make a sound. The third guard escaped through a nearby door and ran for help. This alerted two troll gladiators that attacked the pcs. Both trolls were badly burned by a fireball spell cast by Linkles. The pcs ganged up on the less singed troll and it was quickly slain. The other troll was able to inflict heavy damage on Eric before being burned and chopped up by the pcs.
Following Glade's directions Rigby found the secret door leading to the sleeping area and the stairs to the lower level. Then he removed the necromantic trap and the pcs passed into the corridor guarded by the last troll. Eric charged in first and quickly cut the troll down with his flaming sword. Next the pcs took the staircase down and entered the weapons room. Ribgy again found and removed the necromantic glyph on the door to allow the pcs through. The pcs ended up in prison cell and torture area. The pcs find a sleeping gargoyle that appears to be the castle prison guard and/or torturer. The pcs sneak past him, and by an amazing feat of luck, Glade finds the secret door into King Castruccio Irrovetti's living area. The pcs are immediately attacked by two death dogs. The dogs are fierce but they are no match for the pcs. All the dogs manage to do before they are slain is to wake King Castruccio Irrovetti.
The King of Pitax grabbed his sword and shield once he awoke. Confronted with an angry Eric Irrovetti cast invisibility on himself and ran in the corner. Using his wand of enemy detection, Linkles called out Irrovetti's position.
Gregor struck Irrovetti a mighty blow and broke his invisibility spell. Gregor and Eric ganged up on Irrovetti ganged up on poor irrovetti and they quickly cut him down. Eric's final blow removed the king's head. The king's concubine begged for mercy and the pcs used her to run dupe the guards and escape the castle unmolested.

4760 Pharast 24th Pitax in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The servants of Jhofre Calavari pick up the pcs in the woods and take them via dingy and then merchant ship to the port of Pitax. While on the ship Gregor and Eric are shaved and provided with toupees and clothing to pass for drovers. Once the pcs disembark at Pitax they are taken to the Vascari warehouse where they are given wagons with empty barrels.
Glade and Rigby are hidden in two separate barrels while Gregor, Eric, and Linkles drive the wagon to the Turning Wheel where cheese and sausage are made and shipped. There they meet the owner Ingras Quill. Her son was executed for daring to question King Irrovetti's fitness to rule and therefore she is willing to take risks for the pcs. After a brief discussion the pcs are put into the barrels and sausages and cheese are place on top of them. Three different but similar looking drovers take over the wagon and take the pcs to the palace. There the pcs are unloaded and carried to the pantry by the servants of the king. After a lengthy discussion the pcs decide stay in place and allow Glade to scout the palace in spider form. Glade worked his way through the castle but eventually he was spotted by a hungry troll. The troll ate what he thought was a spider but upon the destruction of his arachnid body Glade shot up to his normal size and broke the troll's jaw. While the troll was dis oriented and in pain Glade made good his escape. Glade returned to the pcs in animal form and the pcs decided to rest and give him one more chance to scout. So the pcs rest and hid for 24 hours.

4760 Pharast 21st-23rd Pitax in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The pcs wait in the forest while Jhofre Vascari works out a plan to get the pcs into the palace.

4760 Pharast 18th-20th Pitax in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The Glade and Linkles, led by Rigby, scout out the city of Pitax. Rigby first makes contact with the Pitax thieves guild. He finds out that the guild supports King Castruccio Irrioventi. Rigby also finds out that the guild is fine with any property crimes committed against the merchant families of Pitax. Eventually Rigby and Linkles make contact with the Vascari merchant family. The head of the family, Jhofre Vascari, agrees to help the pcs assassinate the king.

The pcs set up camp and plan their foray to Pitax. It is decided that Eric and Gregor are too well known due to their success in the Rushlight Tournament and therefor they will remain in the base camp.

4760 Pharast 6th in Solvania in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The pcs plan their attack on King Castruccio Irrovetti.

4760 Calistril 27th to Pharast 5th in Solvania in the Stolen Lands in the Riverlands

The pcs take advantage of some down time as they consider their next move against King Castruccio Irrovetti. Rigby goes to the wizard guild to discuss rituals and his cloaker cloak. Glade sells items to the crown such as the red "fish" gold items.

4760 Abadius 23rd to Calistril 26th from Ustalav to the Riverlands

The pcs travel back to Solvannia. After two days of travel Glade finds a dryad tree and uses it to cross the barrier between worlds to the Crystal Cave. Once there he speaks to the immortal Green Man and then continues on to the fey copse north of Solvannia. He arrives about three weeks before the pcs. Once there he plants one of his magic beans and receives a clutch of magic eggs but has no idea what they do. Then he slowly travels to the capital while helping peasants along the way.

The pcs spend one day resting at Illmarsh. The one surviving priest of Dagon fulfills his promise and confesses to the villagers that the first born females were being given as brides to the Ulat-Kini fishmen. Itn a rage he villagers chase the priest down and lynch him.

4760 Abadius 22nd Ilmarsh, Ustalav (Eric armor day finished)

The pcs use Croon's submersible to travel to the Ulat-Kini tunnels underneath Lake Encarthen near the Tarn Rock. Their new fishman ally convinces the Ulat-Kini guards to assist the pcs.
The creatures swim the pcs a secret entrance. The entrance is sealed by a stone secret door and two special walls of force that seal out everything except living tissue. A short distance into the tunnels the pcs encounter a pair of intellect devourers
but Linkles fireballs them and they are soon slain. Attracted by the noise a Denizen of Leng stepped out in the tunnel and was set upon by the pcs.
Glade cast a wall of fire and another Denizen was attracted by the noise and then a grell also joined the battle. The wall of fire caused some damage and inconvenience but was quickly bypassed so Glade cast moonbeam.
The two deadly creatures fought desperately, and the Denzien managed to dominate Erick for a short time,
but surprised and divided by the pcs they were quickly slain. A flumph was attracted to the noise of battle and approached the pcs speaking psychic gibberish. The lawful good aberration from the Dark Tapestry appeared to be just another tentacled horror to pcs and was destroyed at range with spells. A short time later the pcs came to a cavern with 3 brain visible Ulat-Kini and a fishmen high priest. The high priest ran for the next cavern while the pcs cut down the other fishmen. The pcs continued pursuit of the fishman high priest and just a little further into the cave complex and they arrived in a cavern with 2 grells, a denizen of Leng, a gibbering shoggoth, two of the brain visible Ulat-Kini, and the high priest of the Ulat-Kini. The two grell were feeding brainless corpses of humans and fishmen into a machine that was apparently used to mulch the corpses into a usable liquid mush.
The two fishmen with their skull top removed attempted to block the way but were quickly cut down by Gregor and Erick. Some sort of psychic argument occurred between the denizen of Leng and the fishman high priest. While arguing the priest cast defensive spells on himself. This gave the pcs the opportunity to focus on the grells and the shoggoth. After a short time the denizen of Leng ran to his underwater building which freed the priest up to attack the pcs. Gregor ran the gauntlet of the priest's defensive spells before he could go on the offensive and cut him down. It was a difficult battle but with the priest dead and the denizen fled the others were eventually overcome. After the battle Eric thought it best to explore the cavern that the pcs bypassed while in pursuit of the hight priest. In the room Erick saw about two dozen brains in glass jars with floating eyeballs.
The 14 that were still alive attempted to telepathically communicate with Erick. However the disembodied brains were driven mad by their horrific condition and their insane thoughts drove Erick mad. Gregor quickly ran to help Eric and tricked him into exiting the brainjar room. Then the pcs decided that they should secure their flank and take on the fishmen in the breeding rooms. A single Ulat-Kini attempted to attack the pcs' flank. The creature quickly cut him down.
Then the pcs, led by a fishman volunteer, attempted to enter the Illithiad dome but were repulsed by a wall of force. When the wall of force faded the pcs attacked. By then the dread young of Shub-Niggurath was fully formed and joined Denizens of Leng and the intellect devourer controlled fishmen. At first the pcs appeared to be losing as Eric was paralyzed by a hold person spell and the pcs were trapped by a Hunger of Hadar spell cast over their line of retreat. Then Rigby used a magehand spell to grab the Seasage effigy and he dragged it to the pressure seal door. This caused the dark young of Shub-Niggurath to chase after it. The dark young trampled illthiads in his pursuit of the Seasage Effigy. And it also caused conflict between the dark young and the illthiads because the dark young attempted to summon his mother, the Dark Tapestry god Shub-Niggurath.
The Denizens waited to employ their mind blasts until they had a clear line of fire on the pcs. Unfortunately for the Deniznes the pcs resisted the psionic blasts but the dark young did not and suffered serious psychic wounds. The turning point in the battle occurred when Linkles suffered a wild surge that caused everyone near to suffer vulnerability to piercing weapons. While that might have dangerous to the pcs it was disastrous for the creatures from the Dark Tapestry. Eric used his spear to skewer the now-vulnerable heart of the Dark Young. The surviving illthiads thought it best to flee and opened a gate to Leng. They stepped through the gates and escaped to Leng.
After the battle Glade figured out how to destroy the Seasage Effigy by using the trident of Gozreh.

4760 Abadius 19th-21st Ilmarsh, Ustalav (Eric armor day finished)

Gregor asks Croon to create a below system to provide more air for his submersible. It takes three days to complete and install. On the 21st the pcs are approached by the only surviving priest of Dagon.
He asks the pcs to help the neighbors and save them from an invasion of the "Denizens of Leng". The pcs agree with the condition that the priest confess to the villagers of Illmarsh what was really happening to the children. When the pcs meet with the only surviving neighbor or "Ulat-Kini" briefly explains the situation.
The fishman explains that they mistakenly attempted to use the Seasage Effigy to summon a demon servant of Dagon but only summoned creatures from the Dark Tapestry. Eventually they summoned the Denizens of Leng who took over their home tunnels and enslaved them.

4760 Abadius 18th Ilmarsh, Ustalav (Eric armor day 99/100)

Just before sunrise the pcs sneak into the unguarded temple known as the Recondite Order of the Indomitable Sea. In the hidden room the pcs, excepting only Glade, grease up and don their tar clothes. Glade then cast his water breathing spell. Glade next summons 4 giant catfish which are attached to special net like harnesses and then tied to Linkles, Rigby, Gregor, and Erick. Lastly, after everyone was ready, Glade turned himself into a giant catfish. Thanks to the tar clothes and grease only Rigby suffers minor discomfort due to the cold. About a half hour of fish towing the pcs arrive in the tunnels under Undiomede House. Immediately the pcs begin to hear the noises of combat or a massacre as inhuman cries of pain and a monstrous roaring echo from a distance. Gregor and Erick armor up and hold the narrow exit from the tunnels while Rigby, Linkles, and Glade scout out the dungeon. The 3 scouting pcs begin to search the tunnels. Just a short way ahead the pcs came upon a yellowish lump that was emitting rainbow-like swirls of color. The pcs decide to bypass the strange lump with stealth. Then the pcs come to a dead end cavern that has a bleached out human corpses. One bleached white woman is still alive and is singing to the infant in her arms. The pcs have an extended conversation with the woman and they decide that she is mad. The child she is holding is dead but she doesn't seem to notice. Eventually the pcs decide that the yellow lump is draining the color and life from creatures which apparently causes the "rainbows" as a side effect. The pcs convince the woman that the yellow lump is the cause of the baby "sleeping" and the woman draws a kitchen knife and slashes the lump. The slash seems to release a yellow and red flash of light which fry the woman to a crisp. The pcs immediately attacked but wisely chose ranged attacks over melee as the bleached mother attempted. The yellow lump absorbed Glade's radiant damage but the combined attacks of the other pcs killed the yellow lump before it could ooze into melee range. The 3 pcs went a bit farther and then they heard an alien voice haranguing in an alien language. The 3 pcs stealthed forward and found a cavern where a large fishman appeared to be giving a pep talk to a group of about 10 smaller fishmen. The fishman keeps speaking the words Dagon, Ulat-Kini, and Shub-Niggurath. Eventually the fishmen are rallied and they organize a military spear column into the nearby cavern.
The pcs can't what happens next but the noise of battle is heard again. The pcs move in close behind the spear column and see a huge tentacled monstrosity on three legs. For a short time that seemed like an eternity the column of fishmen attacked the tentacle monster with ranged spears and daggers at close quarters. Their weapons did little more than scratch the monster while its tentacles tore the fishmen limb from limb. The large leader kept the fish soldiers moving forward to attack and killed any that tried to retreat. After a while the tentacled creature began swaying and chanting which created the spell Hunger of Hadar behind the fishmen and on top of Rigby and Linkles.
Legles thought it wiser to grab Glade and run rather than stay and fight alone. The pcs ran to Gregor and Erick and hid behind them. Glade took a risk and ran out to cast spike stones one more time but this time he hid behind the two human warriors and refused to look at the horrific creature. The dark tapestry monster stepped onto the spike stones, traveled a short distance, and then decided that it was too painful and it retreated. Then the creature used a trial and error strategy to find out when the spike stones expired which resulted in significant damage to the dark tapestry horror and a pause of about an hour in length. During this time Glade convinced Gregor and Eric to use the sword Ovinrbaane one last time.
Then the tentacled horror lumbered to the attack again. But before the creature could lay tentacles upon the human warriors, Eric dealt it a devastating blow with Ovinrbaane. Then Gregor charged his magic sword with radiant power and hit the creature with all his might cutting it in two. As the pcs caught their breath the creature began to melt giving off a smell even more foul than it had in life. After pulling themselves together the pcs searched the tunnels below Undiomede house. They found a significant horde of ancient coins. They also found a huge glass beaker containing the naked remains of old man. The pcs also found a book, magic trident, and a suit of full chainmail that survived its owner being squeezed out through the rings.

4760 Abadius 15th-17th Ilmarsh, Ustalav (Eric armor day 98/100)

The pcs spend the three days resting and preparing for an expedition through the tunnel underneath the temple of the Recondite Order of the Indomitable Sea. Glade believes the tunnel leads under Undiomede House. Given the cold of the water Glade and Horace Croon design a garment coated in tar to ameliorate the danger of the ice cold water. The pcs also decide to cover themselves in grease to improve their resistance to the cold.

4760 Abadius 14th Illmarsh, Ustalav (Eric armor day 95/100)

The pcs decide to hunt the "Watcher in the Wake". The pcs take the inventor's boat to the Tarn Rock. Glade summons 4 sharks and swims to the bottom of the tarn rock in shark form. When the 5 sharks reached the bottom of the lake the Watcher attacked.
The sharks attacked the watcher but caused only superficial wounds. The Watcher retaliated by dominating one of the sharks. Shark-Glade and his three sharks fled to the surface followed by the Watcher and his shark.
Glade and his pet sharks sped across the surface to the ship with the Watcher and his pet following. When the Watcher passed close to the ship it was pierced through by a lance each from Erick and Gregor. When the watcher attempted to pass under the boat Gregor and Erick pulled him to the surface. The Watcher managed to get only a single tentacle slap at Glade before it was skewered by the pcs and the three sharks.

4760 Abadius 12th Illmarsh, Ustalav (Eric armor day 93/100

The pcs talk to various villagers of Illmarsh. They discover a number of interesting facts, the foremost of which is the existence of the Undiomede House. The pcs decided to travel to Undiomede House rather than swim up the tunnel. The pcs follow an old overgrown road that leads to the dilapidated mansion. After some searching the pcs figure out that Undiomede House is built up on a circle of menhirs or standing stones. In the main entry chamber, which is also the center of the menhirs, the pcs encounter a great female marsh giant wielding a mast.
Despite her size and strength the pcs overwhelm Yib Thoolp and she dies upon the Kellid sacrificial altar. Eventually Gregor enters a room with giant ticks and he is attacked. However the ticks are slain before they can get past Gregor's armor. After some more searching the pcs find a trio of Dagon priests. After a short battle the priests are defeated and one is taken prisoner and questioned. The pcs find out that the high priest of Dagon Albor is infected with something called a "moit". As the pcs were winding down the questioning of the prisoner, the voice of Albor Voltiaro drifted down to them from the chimney. Albor admitted to his infection with a "moit" and his impending demise. He asked the pcs to let him leave and travel to the "neighbors" unopposed. Instead the pcs slowly worked their way up the left staircase avoiding all but one ice glyph. As the pcs led by Gregor enter Albor's room, Albor exits and runs for the hole to the menhir room.
Both Glade and Linkles try eventually try to enter the room and both take massive radiant damage and refuse to continue. Albor leaps out the hole and heads to the menhir with the permanent phase portal. Erick leaps over the balcony railing in hot pursuit but twists his ankle and goes berserk. Albor casts barrier blade on Erick's position and then places the deep one amulet in the corresponding recessed area in the menhir. The menhir becomes a unique phase portal and Albor steps through is instantly elsewhere. Eric runs up the left staircase exploding multiple ice glyphs to melee Linkles. The pcs turn on him and Erick quickly drops. Gregor grabs his sword Ovinrbaane and he and Glade put it in the portable hole. Gregor and Rigby search the upper level alone due the forbiddance spell and Erick's injuries. The human and Halfling find the library. When Gregor pulls out the only undamaged book two spectres attack the duo.
The two spectres are no match for the undead smashing power of Gregor backed up by Rigby. The book is the dangerous unholy Dark Tapestry "The Book of Abstruse Geometries" and Gregor and Glade decide to feed the book to their pet bag of devouring. Then the pcs decide to destroy the phase gate standing stone. Linkles and Erick succeed with acid orb. Then Glade uses his flame blade to first destroy the altar and the hidden moits and then enough of the menhirs to make Undiomede House collapse. The pcs then return to Illmarsh and Glade shapeshifts to catfish form and explores the tunnel. A little over an hour later Glade discovers that the underwater tunnel leads to "deep one" guards. The pcs decide to take a long rest with their friend and inventor.
